Subz N Stuff isn’t just a sandwich shop—it’s a battlefield of flavor, and Jami Sohail is its fearless general. You can tell this man has been around sandwiches. There’s an unspoken reverence in the air as you approach the counter (or more accurately, as you yell across the room to place your order, because nothing worth having comes quietly at Subz N Stuff). It’s an initiation, a sandwich gauntlet that ensures only the bold and the loudest partake.

The Maverick, for instance, isn’t just a sandwich—it’s a meat Everest. Nine meats, four cheeses, and a stack so tall it feels like a dare. It’s less a lunch option and more a lesson in humility. Jami crafts it with the intensity of a man on a mission, layering each ingredient as though it were his final masterpiece. Yes, it takes 30 minutes, but greatness isn’t rushed, and trust me, it’s worth every second. When that glorious beast is handed to you, you’ll feel like you’ve been entrusted with a work of art rather than just a meal.

Then there are the sauces, oh, the sauces! Jami claims to have sold over 90,000 bottles of his famous chipotle sauce—and while we can’t confirm that number, the sauce is legendary for a reason.

And oh, the bread. It’s freshly baked by some mystical, preservative-free alchemy that feels like it should come with a certificate of authenticity. You bite into it and instantly understand why Dallas radio named these the best sandwiches in the Metroplex. The staff treats you like family—though more like the kind of family where you wrestle over the last slice of pie, and less like the ‘polite smiles and nods’ kind.

Subz N Stuff isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to prove yourself. If you survive the yelling, pass the sauce-worthiness test, and manage to finish The Maverick, you don’t just leave full—you leave victorious. My crew and I felt seen and appreciated, and we are incredibly excited to come back to see our new friends at Subz N Stuff!

Avoid the chain restaurants. If you are looking for a TRUE, east-coast style, fresh-bread, sandwich deli, run, don't walk to Subz N Stuff on Las Colinas Blvd. The owners, Jami & Suzy, were awarded the best sandwich shop in Irving award, but I respectfully disagree, they operate the best sandwich shop in all of Dallas County. Each sandwich is piled w fresh cut-to-order meats, cheeses, vegetables, etc. on freshly baked breads with their custom sauces. The number 7, the French dip and the Maverick are among my favorites on the menu. Jami and Suzy and the staff are lovely people and not only greet you by name, they always get your custom sandwich order done right. Chip B.

First time eating there this afternoon! The owner seemed to know his regulars and greeted them by name. Which is rare in today’s world. The sub was delicious. The bread was nice & soft … even after being toasted. Stacked with ham, turkey and all the veggies! Probably one of the better subs I’ve had in a long time.

It’s ok if you are in the area and want a sub. First choice was unavailable at the time, next two were ok. The cold turkey and ham tasted fresh. Pretty pricy for two subs with drinks and chips. Fountain drink machines had limited selection. Service was good. Parking looks like it could be difficult during busy times.

So confused why this place has so many good reviews. Vegetarians, not the subs you’re looking for. Barely filled sandwich, lettuce and avocados are browned and old and bread wasn’t soft either.

Was excited to try a new place but extremely disappointed especially for $11. Tried calling them but didn’t get a response back.

Update: In response to the owners comment. The employee said she would call me back after talking to you, she did not offer me that and no one called back. Also, i know rotten avocados when i see them..good try though.

Visiting here in Texas and this was the first place we came to try some food. This place is amazing! Obviously fresh ingredients and tons of options to choose from. Got to talk with the owner Jami and he was a delight! Very well mannered and you can tell that he takes so much pride in his establishment. I raved about his homemade Mango Habanero sauce so much that he gave us one on the house to take home! Along with a cookie to try! Will definitely be going back to try something else before I head back home as I had a great experience. We even took a photo together!

Jami is passionate about his establishment. He makes sure everyone is pleased with their choice and makes great recommendations should you need help choosing. What impressed me as much as his amazing sandwiches and sauces, was his knack for remembering everyone's name and thanking them for their visit. A true expert on enhancing the guest experience. Will be a regular from now on!
