I, normally, don't like to leave bad reviews, and I hope I just came at the wrong time, but I know I won't be back there for sure. I bought just a few things, mainly chips, and was trusting its quality. When I opened both bags, they tested funny. I looked at the expiration date, and both were expired and tasted gross. Pastries were undercooked, really heavy, and meat, something like Canadian bacon ( I bought a very small piece) was okay. For the expired groceries, I was charged $33. I threw everything away and lost my money. I'm very disappointed.

If you decide to shop there, check everything you touch for expiration dates for your own safety.

This place needs to be inspected by Health and Food administration.

I love love their food I came by yesterday to buy Mici and Lángos and boy they did not disappoint i couldn’t wait to eat my Lángos i almost forgot to take a picture. If you’re in the area and are looking for good Hungarian food come here.

We have been shopping here for years, never disappoints. For Romanian and Hungarian food you cannot go wrong, there are lots of traditional meats, cheeses, baked goods, we love it.
Sometimes it can be crowded and I’ve seen a couple of shoplifting incidents for small things, however, the atmosphere is genial and friendly, even under those circumstances.
The shop owners are amazing, they can prepare food for all the required special types for different occasions, from the “cake for the dead” that tastes just like the one I learned to make from my mom, to Easter and Christmas breads.
We visit about once a month.

Their homemade bread is to die for! I make a trip there once a week just to get it for my family to enjoy. And you can’t go wrong with their selection of specialty Romanian meats to make a sandwich or two! The staff is amazing. Always friendly and welcoming when I enter the store. This store is a definite MUST when in Garden Grove!

This is my 4th time here and I must say the food is excellent. I very much enjoyed the homemade skinless sausages, soups and langosh. I have also indulged my sweet tooth in their in house baked European style pastries. Rich yet not overly sweet. I have always received great customer service from a husband and wife team Lori and Alin. Looking forward to my next visit. I suggest you come hungry and don't forget to visit their quaint shop filled with imported European delicacies.

My ebt card was scammed after using it at Walmart in woodland ca, checked my transactions and this place came up as I have never been here!! I’m not sure what type of scammers work here or what they have going on but they are foul af!!

I was amazed by the service at this store. Lori was super nice helped me navigate thru so many products especially the ones made in the house. My family really like the smoked bacon and sausages the Hungarian has a little spiciness,delicious…
I m planing another trip very soon. Have some Sami de biscuits for me please..

A genuine Eastern European gem of a place. Their home made sausages, stuffed cabbage and deserts are to die for. Very fast service- a must try! Thank you for bringing in new products that we can enjoy!
