Weekday lunch. Place was pretty empty, but the host was very friendly and inviting. Happy to discuss the menu and reccomend.
Food took a little while to come out, however the chap was by himself and clearly cooking everything fresh, well worth the wait.
Prices very reasonable, and food variety was much different to other local cafes. French cuisine is appreciated when it is so scarce.
Hot chocolates made with real chocolate flakes and steamed milk.

There is plenty of deli stock also, with a wife range of chutneys, alcohol, chocolates etc perfect for gifts, or for elevating a home meal.

Will 100% return.

A lovely little cafe.
I had a very tasty gluten free pancake.
And took a slice of gluten free cake home too.
The staff are warm and helpful.
I will go again when I'm in the area.

Amazing little gem in Bingham town centre that I found recently? how come I never try been living here for 2 years ?！Warm my day by lovely yummy surprised lunch of the day for my first time visit here with friends. Affordable prices Definitely would recommend others and I will come back again to try other dishes?

This tiny place was a very nice surprise, very cosy little French themed café with a surprisingly big menu for such a small place.

The food a drinks were great and to think it was all prepared in such a small space makes it even more impressive!

The service was absolutely fantastic and the owner was very sociable and great to chat to. Definitely worth checking out - if you can get a table!

Well...what a stroke of luck in finding this café!
Having been in the square earlier and not finding a dog friendly place for a cuppa and light lunch a local pointed me and the Mrs to the Rose & May.
What a genuine surprise!
Great indoor and outdoor service, top service and a friendly smile. Superb loose tea and a great food menu.
No more searching for me...this will definitely be my first choice.
Thank you for a very pleasant lunch and super service.

Writing a review for Rose and May is tricky business. It's not very big and off the beaten track. Why would I want to encourage others, and then find it too busy to get in myself? If you haven't found it yet, you should keep well clear - you won't like it. Sorry, Ian.

Only stopped for a coffee but such a warm welcome and I was very well looked after.
Such a lovely hidden gem in Bingham, I'll be back soon to try some food ?
