Went to Epicurus Gourmet to pick up some beef tallow and was surprised with everything they had to offer. They have cooking products from all over the world as well as beautiful steaks and fish. Wholesale prices too which is nice. The beef tallow was actually cheaper there than it was from Fatworks. Definitely worth checking out if you like to cook.

Behold. When you need a special ingredient to make something stand out, or just plain taste good, this is your secret weapon. It is not cheap. It is imported. But take that into consideration and you’ll find the prices are fair. An excellent section of cheese, cured/uncured meats, and sauces. Winter time: panettone room. Yes.

What a gem of a food shop! Came here to get some guanciale but found such a nice selection of imported European foods. Meats, cheeses, seafood, pasta, sauces, preserves, candies, chocolates, canned sardines, seasonings... and really nice staff. Gonna be shopping here regularly now!

I love this store, or I used to. For some reason the new management (same owner) got rid of their entire staff. The old staff was amazing. They were so nice, always asked how I was doing and if I needed help. They would tell me about new products they had and we amazing conversations…this now doesn’t happen. No one greeted me , no one asked me if I was doing alright, needed help. Nothing. There were plenty employees on the floor but no one helped. They were also out of so many items which they said was because of the holidays.Sorry but no way you ran out of red chilli flakes cause of thanksgiving. I’ll probably give Epicurus one more try but wow was I disappointed

Found this place from none other than Tiktok and I had to check it out. The shop is located within an warehouse complex. You'd never expect to find an international grocer there but it is. Once you're in, you're greeted by the friendly staff and an assortment of specialty goods. You'll find products from Italy, Germany, France, the Middle East, and lots more. I intentionally didn't get a basket because I knew I'd buy too much. In the end, I ended up grabbing a basket. If you're looking for imported products, this is your place to go. But be careful, you'll end up wanting too much and leave with more than you intended.

Totally unassuming location, but the best selection, best staff, and pretty reasonable prices. Great for a once a month trip for special groceries that you simply can’t get anywhere else in LA.
