I’ve had their kung pow before and it was great the first time but this time not so much. I paid $15 for this meal and there’s hardly any chicken and mostly celery..… not cool, very disappointed and probably won’t be eating here again.

Been good everytime I've been here. Great egg rolls. Chicken with mixed vegetables so good. My favorite from here is the roast pork egg foo young. It's perfect. Just like NYC Chinese.

I walked in and got a to go plate around 3 pm on a Friday. They give you a to go plate that you fill up yourself with food from the all you can eat bar and it’s priced by the pound. The selection is huge! The atmosphere was great! It wasn’t too crowded at all. It came out to about 12$. The food looked delicious but it was dry and chewy. I will not be returning.

I hate to leave a low score, but we came to check this place out. Sorry, I forgot to get pictures of the food, but I just completely lost interest after one bite of each thing.

We ordered 4 different plates and were not able to eat any of them. I ended up giving the food to my friends and dogs. First of all the prices are really cheap and they are fast and friendly but that's about it for the positive.
4 lunch specials
Egg rolls were decent but too creamy/soggy in the middle. 3/5*
We tried wonton egg drop and hot and sour soup all of them liked taste imo 3/5*
Orange chicken rice tasted burnt, no veggies, and sauce on chicken tasted like sweet and sour with too much breading and dry 2/5*
Beef Broccoli was OK, but the broccoli was soggy/watery like it was frozen. Noodles liked taste and were also very soggy.2/5
Shrimp fried rice and shrimp noodles..same thing rice was dry tasted burnt and shrimp are the small pre frozen ones you get already cooked so they liked flavor as well.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend eating here, but anything is worth trying once. Like I said, nice people, but my job here is to review restaurants and give my feedback to you guys. 10+ million views and growing, so I will continue!
Thanks for viewing this review.

We have been coming here for almost 5 years. Our food is always on point and fresh and hot never have missed an item or anything. We moved across town takes us 20-25 minutes now and will only continue to order from them. I come for Special dish Singapore House Mei Fun which I can’t find other places, but also not willing to risk it other places knowing they only say Singapore rice noodles (no other description or ingredients which China Gourmet does). I have places near me less than a 1/2 mile saying they have it but won’t risk it knowing we have the best with them! Thank you for all you do best Customer service and freshest takeout!! We love y’all. Ordered again tonight it’s my craving.

I ended up getting food poisoning after eating here. I am not ever going here again. I have told my friends to not go there. Chinese is very dangerous because you can get extremely sick from it. Thank you for the 3rd party delivery service for showing me that they care about my health. I really appreciate it. The food was ok. I mean I’ve never had this place the 13 years I’ve been in Colorado Springs. Now I know why. I am missing work due to this as well.

I did not know it was possible to screw up Chinese food but this place has managed to do so on every level. Besides giving me unusable 100% fake and disgusting soy sauce packets which were nothing more than water, salt, artificial caramel color, two glutamates, and sodium benzoate, my broccoli and beef meal was nothing good either. The beef was very rubbery and lacking in flavor and there was barely a drop of sauce and what was there was horrible tasting probably because they use imitation soy sauce in that too. The fried rice seemed more like just rice you'd get like chicken flavored Rice-A-Roni which was way too salty. As for the spring roll, it was very small and had a little bit of vegetables in it and had no flavor whatsoever. Regarding atmosphere, there's more atmosphere in a Burger King than this place.

My favorite place to get Chinese food takeout in the Springs. I would give 5 stars if the food quality was consistent. Yesterday, I ordered a dish that normally comes with broccoli and fresh sautéed mushrooms and it had no broccoli and what looked and tasted like canned mushrooms. Other than that experience their food I'd usually great.
