Great Place. You will find a huge selection of vintage bottled Sodas and a huge selection of vintage Candies. There is massive beer selection from all over the world. While you're there stop at their Deli for a sandwich as well. If you're looking for a hard to find drink you'll probably find it here.

This place is a craft soda lovers DREAM!

Absolutely incredible selection to choose from- I love cherry soda and could not believe the amount of options I had to choose from. Even really niche ones, like Jones Bubblegum Soda- which I can never find in stores- they had in stock!

The staff were also so incredibly lovely. There was an older gentleman- the owner I believe- who was actively helping bag orders and talking with customers. There was a young girl who unfortunately threw up all over the floor, and he got right to cleaning it up without missing a beat- I heard her vomit like, 4 aisles away and by time I made it over you’d never know it had happened. They were also very understanding to her/her family and didn’t make them feel bad. Really wanted to highlight the customer service there. And to top it off, he even walked me to my car and loaded my soda into my backseat for me!!! Just a lovely, lovely individual and interaction.

The build your own soda aspect was also a delight, I originally went for that reason but as you can see by my cart…I quickly got distracted LOL. They also had a plethora of vintage candy options, so I brought some home to my parents (in their late 50’s/60’s) and it was a really cool way to learn more about their childhood as the candies brought back memories and stories I’d never heard before.

Places like this are hard to come by. If you have even the slightest interest- GO. You will not regret it.

Galco's Old World Grocery aka the Soda store have been around many years as a grocery store and know as the world famous Soda store. People have been coming around California and other state have come to Galco's to find old classic Soda you can't find in store. Once in a while my wife and I go to Galco's to buy vintage Soda that we love they hard to find or they stop making but coming to Galco's we find them.

Galco's have a Deli called Galco's Blockbuster they make sandwiches they petty good we enjoy their pastrami sandwiches. We order the turkey Blockbuster they are really good we enjoy our drink we buy. Galco's is part of L.A. history and keeping tradition alive.

Love this place. Old school candies and sodas. Candies range from 2.09+ and the sodas 2.59+
Also they have a deli sandwich place. The pastrami sandwich was good, wish the bread was a little more soft, but still, loves it. Unique items. They do also carry a variety of wines and IPAs, a little on the pricey side, but also imported wine and beers are. They also have a station where you can make your own sodas, it's starts from water to light carbonation to heavy carbonation and with 30 to varieties of flavours you can pump. 8 to 9 pumps allowed for each bottle and you get to name your creation as well, just ask for a marker.

I don't drink soda but the ones here are just so good and fun to buy a bunch of single bottles of different flavors and just share them with friends to try.

We got the Julmust Holiday Soda, The Werewolf Howling Ginger Beer and more to try. The ginger one was very strong in ginger and Holiday Soda tasted like warm spices.

Been coming here since during my teenage years when I lived in the area and this place still feels the same in a nostalgic way.

The always got old tunes playing, great selection of soda pop options, beer and wines.

If you’re looking for something particularly they are bond to have it here.

Selves filled row by row as well by refrigerated options for that ready to go treat.

The sandwiches are made in the back just like an old school deli.

They are always super nice and accommodating with chill vibes.

The hot and cold sandwiches.

My go to is the Italian blockbuster and the meat ball sub.

They also got plenty of candy options and now chips and trinkets, games and all the great stuff to bring out the kid in you.

I remember when the owner always being there with his apron and a smile.

He use to be stocking the bottles or at the front ringing everyone up.

Use to be only cash but now the accept card.

They have a decent size parking lot with street parking.

This is one of my go to sandwich joints to pair with soda pop and candy.

Always puts a smile on my face that every-time I go I feel like I get to travel back in time to the good o days when life was simple.

If you’re going on a picnic or the beach or road trip this is the perfect pit stop to grab a simple snacks to make it extra special.

I usually pick up a few things and head to the park or go on a hike to enjoy.

Make sure the shelf price matches with what they ring up at the counter, I bought a few drinks and in the receipt I got charged $10 for a bottle when the sticker price stated half of that. Other than alot of selections on sodas nd bonus for the make-your-own-soda all the way in the back.
