Tasteless!! Very dissapointed with Yorkshire on the Chinese front, not had a good one yet!! People must review this one based on portion size, the meals are decent sized but just don't taste of anything. We approached the shop to be greeted by a bad drain smell, should have known better as its grubby, so many are busy but simply don't spend that investment on making a nice, clean welcoming entrance! We ordered Salt and pepper ribs, these were dry roasted (or fried) quite chewy, not much meat topped with sliced onions and salt and pepper seasoning they were ok not the usual juicy slightly coated ones you usually get. Mains were Two pork and english mushrooms, fried rice and a mixed meat chow mein. The portion size of the mains were good, however the pork and mushroom just seemed very bland, the fried rice was just tasteless with no real egg pieces in there, the chow mein was all bits of noodles, like it was at the end of the packet, i asked my son to close his eyes and fed him a bit of chicken, couldn't tell it was chicken, he spat it out, cost was over £30 with prawn crackers but we ate the ribs rest of it after a couple of spoons went in the bin. We travel around in our caravan and so far, skipton, hornsea and thirsk chinese all went in the bin. If you like big tasteless portions then go for it, otherwise try something else. Sorry don't normally leave reviews but simply fed up of being served rubbish and throwing it away.

Excellent food, consistent standards. Large portions. Great price. One Of the best Chinese takeaways I have had. My regular go too.

if menu have photo of food.it will help to select quickly.

This takeaways service is AMAZING. We ordered around £30 worth of food and when we got home unfortunately not all the food was there - however; we called up and the lady on the phone was so apologetic and let us know that we could return and collect the missing food. Little did we know she had made a fresh batch of the food left and gave us both portions as well as a refund for the food that was forgotten. This was completely above and beyond service and I couldn’t fault how they rectified this small issue. Just WOW!
