Food is always good and freshly made, my parents have been shopping here and playing lotto for years. Newly remodeled. Same smiles and great customer service. They know all the neighbors.

The person that does the cooking never hears you. I've been disappointed so many times that I stopped getting things he has to make. A simple egg sandwich got messed up. I asked for lite scramble lil salt and pepper and he messed that up. Also very pricey...walk 1 block up for better listening and prices.

Service and food is good. Very friendly atmosphere. However, I don't understand when I used my debit card, I was charged an extra $1.48 on my $37.00 bill.Glad I asked for receipt, I asked why? And they acted as if they had no control over this extra charge. EVERY small grocery store
in LES where I purchased items, food or beverages NEVER added on a extra charge.I will only use cash, if I have no choice to patronize this store. I am going to follow-up if this legal.

I gotta keep it a hundred. I would shop there if the prices were consistent. But I only shop there if it's like an emergency. On the menu the create your own salad is $7 about and when you go to the counter they charge $10. I'm not with it, i shop at the other place.

I'm giving this place 5 stars because I have seen the renovation in each of its stages. It's a complete gut renovation and they held back no expense so far. It should be opening up soon (today is May 8, 2020) and I will update this review after shopping in the new Cozy's. Prior to this renovation, it was a typical NYC bodega. Not too clean and filled with mostly junk food and cigarettes. The owners promise a nice change. Can't wait.

I looked it before the remodel. Now I love it. I love their burgers. The ham and Swiss on a roll is tasty and generous.The girlfriend loves the roast beef and muenster. The way they take care of us well. We are becoming regulars.
