This is a great place to eat and to browse the art gallery. It always puts a smile on my face when I walk in and hear "Welcome home". A great way to start your day is with one of their tasty breakfast meals or try a delicious sandwich for lunch. They always serve a BIG tasty meal. The service is great and the staff is very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend.

Then he tells me all about Picasso's Gourmet Deli, and how great the sandwiches are there. Well, I've heard that line many times while on my search for the best sandwich in California. So, I asked him if honesty is one of the traits of how you judge a man, and he looks me dead in the eye and says..Nope! You judge a man by whether or not he's wearing Lee jeans, and by the size of his belt buckle! Then he orders a couple of hot chicken sandwiches...And, I'll tell you..they were Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

I used to be a regular but I moved ?. As much as I have seen Downtown Modesto change, I hope Picasso’s stays for as long as possible. Everything they make here is fresh daily. The owners, Jordi & Margarita as well as the staff, put so much love and thought into this business. They are the heart of it. It is more than a gourmet deli. It’s an art gallery (if I’m not mistaken, Jordi has hand crafted much of the art that is on display. Even the tables!), local lunch spot, and if you get to know them, they really make you feel at home.

Now let’s get to the food ?: the lunch specials are the best. Any sandwich you get is going to be amazing. On this day, I ordered the portobello panini. It was so flawless. The cheese was melted, the portobello was the perfect temperature and texture, and the veggies were crisp. It paired perfectly with the tomato soup. I also ordered an iced white mocha to get me through the day. I will always recommend Picasso’s for lunch if you are in downtown.

Craved a sandwich and stopped by this very cute corner deli. I was amazed by the friendliness of the owner/lady, the speed of service and the food. I ordered the half soup and half sandwich. The tomato basil soup was delicious. I went with the Van Gogh sandwich. Loved it! The bread was fluffy/fresh unlike most Ciabattas you get at other restaurants. I will definitely return here, there are several other sandwiches I want to try!

One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Steak was extremely flavorful and the au jus was strong. The pesto pasta was exceptional and the owner was incredibly kind. Gave me a good recommendation for a sandwich and even gave me a free sample of their tomato and pesto soup which was also delicious. Can't highly recommend enough.

I don’t even know where to begin. The service is amazing, the staff is incredibly kind, the food is 10/10, the coffee is also 10/10 and the place is really nice and clean. The art they have on display is beautiful. When it comes to waiting for your order, it hardly even feels like a wait because the food is served within a matter of a few minutes. There’s so much I can say, but overall the food and environment just feels really authentic, which is why I love coming here. It’s only been my second time, but I haven’t been disappointed at all. Everything I’ve had has only left me wanting to come back even more. If you like Starbucks sandwiches, then you will without a doubt, like the food this place has to offer even more. I recommended this place 100%.

I can always count on this place for a delicious meal! Their food never disappoints—everything is consistently fresh and flavorful. The sandwiches are perfectly crafted, the soups are always comforting, and the salads are just the right balance of healthy and tasty. Definitely a 10/10 experience every time. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this restaurant! This place has such a beautiful atmosphere! Jordi the owner had his personal art decorating the restaurant and took the time to show us his and his families art! You won't get more of a personal or unique experience anywhere eles! The food was made with fresh high quality ingredients and was so delicious! You can taste the experience and passion that they put into their food! They take the time to bake their bread every morning and most of their ingredients are made in house! Everything was so next level! I highly recommend coming here the food and staff are perfect!
