We used to eat at TooJay's in The Villages, Florida, but they went out of business. When we saw there was one in Orlando we had to check it out.

Service was not great, we ordered Matzo ball soup but after 20 minutes we realized our server had planned to serve it not as an appetizer, but along with our sandwiches, even though we asked to have the soup first.

The food was very good, not great but definitely good. The soup had lots of chicken and the matzo balls were good. My Rachel Sandwich and my wife's brisket sandwich were well prepared and the servings were huge. I was happy that they had Cel Ray soda, which I had missed a lot.

I would definitely return. This is a good deli with good quality food. Perhaps our server was just having an off day, it certainly wasn't the end of the world.

Delicious! A taste of New York. Matzo ball soup and stuffed cabbage was amazing. Deli style sandwiches were perfect. Definitely will be back!

Best food in the area, fresh, clean and delicious. One of the best selections on the top line, it is a little bit expensive but you never leave unhappy. To many options and the quality in all areas are outstanding.
The servers apparently worked many years ago and lost the hunger of the attendant wants to impress a customer, and looks too far away and prefers answer questions but suggested to the new dinner guest some alternatives.
On another level the hostess, the long time owner Lady who opens her arms with the imaginary hug helps the customer to feel at home.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The people are always friendly. The food is excellent, and it's hard to beat their desserts. Best key lime pie in the area. The wait staff is excellent. They will make substitutions if there is something in the dish you don't like. I am not a Brussel Sprout guy. The only problem I've seen is that they get crowded evenings and weekends.

Well, it's impressive when you walk in to see all the beautiful desserts. That's kinda where it stops.
I ordered a cup of Chicken Noodle Soup with my meal. I didn't have not one piece of chicken and soup was luke warm. The Shepherds Pie looked good on the menu, but in reality, lacking. I had one scoop of filling on either side of my small dish with the majority of the middle being mashed potatoes. On top, 2 great big pieces of cheese melted on top, which is unusual for this dish and pricey at $18. My husband had hot dogs with extra toppings. The buns were cold and hard right out of the package. They were small, tough hot dogs for $13.49. A real disappointing lunch.

We've been going here for the last 20 yrs. It's 1 1/2 hrs from where we live. It's well worth the drive. All their soups are made from scratch. The beef cabbage and chicken noodle are to die for. Their corn beef and reuben sandwiches are top-notch.
Shepherds Pie is oh so good too. This is a Jewish restaurant, deli and bakery. Absolutely, authentic in all their food. We've never had a bad meal. EVER!!! Since we live far away, we always get quarts of soups, and various entrees to freeze. The rye bread is the best I've had in my life of 70 yrs. Made fresh daily. 2 loaves come home everything.
The staff is great as well. The breakfast is phenomenal. You won't be disappointed with this great find.

It was my 1st time @ a TooJay’s and I was not disappointed at all.
They have a large menu to choose from. Serving breakfast Monday-Fri till 11am and 2pm Saturday & Sunday or their lunch and dinner menu served all day.
We had the Avocado toast, the Matzo Ball soup and Corned Beef Hash and Eggs with a Bagel.
The soup was not too flavorful, but great portions.
The rest of the food was cooked to perfection and very flavorful.
They have a large selection of desserts and cookies .
